Earlier Micah "Mommy, follow me!"

3 blocks later I said "Where are we going?"

He just kept walking and said, "We're gonna see everyone!"

"Mommy," Micah said "we go to Grandma's, Grandpa's?"

"Not today Micah, we can't go to Grandma and Grandpa's every day."

"But I LOVE them, mommy!" He pouted.

Monkey Hear, Monkey Say

Micah was outside playing in the dirt.

Grandpa said "Does anyone mind that Micah is playing in cat crap?"

When I asked Micah what he was doing, getting in the dirt he said "Playing in cat crap."

Make up Your Mind!

What do you want to eat, Micah?

"Toast"

Okay, here's toast with butter.

"No, PEANUT butter."

Okay, here's toast with butter and peanut butter.

"And jelly, please."

SIGH

Okay, here's toast with butter, peanut butter AND jelly, Micah.

"No want it."

ARG!

Nerds

Micah stuck a nerds candy up his nose and it stuck in there.

We had to wait for his saliva in his nose to melt it a bit so it would come out.

He was crying.

He has never tried to stick anything in his nose again.

The World

Micah is still.

Staring out the window.

"What are you looking at, Micah?"

...

"I'm looking at the world."

Yellow Ketchup

Micah can never remember the word "mustard" so he asks for "yellow ketchup" on his hotdogs.

Banana Butt

Micah just told me that bananas are for boys and not for girls. I had tried to eat the rest of his (he had left it on the counter) and he wasn't having THAT.

He just handed me the end of the banana and said I could eat his banana's butt. At least now I know he thinks I'm worth a banana butt. And yes, it was yummie.

In the end he shared. I suppose it counts for something.
